I like Max. I like her broken dreams and sarcasm and I like the way she’s tough and don’t let anyone get too close because she can get hurt. I like the way she’s protective with Caroline and careful with Chesnut. I think she doesn’t know how to act like everyone and that makes her even more special. I love the way she doesn’t care for pretty and the way she treats Earl. She’s my favorite character now.
